COVID-19 POLICY

For the safety of our tiniest members, we require all adults (members and experts) to be fully vaccinated. Hand sanitizer and masks will be available at each class. Currently, masks are optional. We will closely monitor CDC and local guidance and update our policy as necessary.

FAQs

Q: When’s the best time to register?
A: Classes will be organized by due date and will start when your baby is approximately 2-6 weeks old. Sign up early to secure your spot in that month’s class.

Q: How long is each class?
A: Classes are 90 minutes with approximately 30-45 minutes for the expert to present and with time towards the end for Q&A and to chat with the other mamas

Q: I signed up for the class based on my due date, but when does the class actually start?
A: The class will start in the middle of the month after your due date month. For example, if your due date is anytime in September, your series will start in mid-October. Please see the sign up page for exact dates for each class.

Q: What happens if I sign up for the class based on my due date, but I don’t end up giving birth that month?
A: Only about 5% of babies are born on their due date. Babies love to arrive early or stay late. If this ends up being the case for you, not to worry, just email us at hello@themamaleague.com and we’ll make sure you get into the right class.

Q: Is Mama League only for first time moms?
A: No! The Mama League is also great for second, third, and even fourth time moms. Each baby, birthing experience, and fourth trimester are different! Get a refresher on the newborn phase and take some time for yourself to meet other local moms with babies the same age as your newest child.

Q: What should I bring with me to class?
A: Sometimes your baby may sleep in the car seat the whole time, and other times they might need a diaper change, want to eat, or just want to nap on you the whole time. None of the classes will require special supplies beyond a blanket to put your baby down on and whatever you and your baby need to be comfortable for the hour.

Q: I’m having twins, do I sign up for two spots?
A: No, while the class is for mamas and babies together, the class count will be based on the number of mamas regardless of the number of babies.

Q: What is your refund policy?
A: Since the number of spots in each class is limited, we are not able to provide refunds. However, if we are able to fill your spot with another mama from the waitlist, then we can refund you.

Q: What if I miss a class?
A: We do not offer makeup classes. As each class is confidential and safe place to share, we do not record the classes. However, keeping everyone safe is our top priority. If you or your baby is feeling sick, you will be able to participate in up to one class virtually. We will make sure you still get any handouts or material provided by the expert.

Q: What is your COVID policy?
A: Currently, masks are optional. We will closely monitor CDC and local guidance and update our policy as necessary.

For the safety of our tiniest members,  if you feel sick, please stay home. If you or your baby arrive at class and are visibly sick, we will ask you not to participate in that week’s class. With keeping everyone safe as our top priority, if you are sick, you will be able to participate in up to one class virtually. We will also make sure you still get any handouts or material provided by the expert.

We appreciate your understanding on this matter.
